Position Overview
Tacmed Secured is seeking highly skilled Armed Guards for access control positions. This role requires strong situational awareness, communication skills, and the ability to uphold high-level security standards. The Armed Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests, personnel, and property while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control property access points while interacting professionally with guests.
- Assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing resort and area information.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and life safety equipment.
- Secure entrances and exits as needed.
- Escort unauthorized individuals off the property while maintaining professionalism.
- Respond to vehicle accidents, thefts, and security incidents as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Nevada Guard Card (Required)
- Valid Weapons Permit or ability to complete a certified weapons course
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or security (Preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (as permitted by law)
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Mandatory Participation in Training Programs – No exceptions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
